Gun Dog Training
Purpose  of  All Star Dog Training, LLC

The goal of this company is to provide training that will enrich the life of dogs helping owners live  with animals who have learned boundaries and exhibit good obedience.

Training philosophy
Compassion  and patience is our passion both for dogs and people. Training dogs requires understanding the emotional component for each dog and not delivering a boiler plate method. It is understanding the imprinting as a puppy and their level of socialization. It is finding what works for the dog and apply teaching methods that help the dog learn and have fun doing their work. Creating a responsible dog who has a great work ethic requires building trust  and earning each others respect that delivers performance with "can do" confident attitude. Consistency is vital to outcome. My philosophy is holding to the highest training standards that are founded on scientific behavioral methods, behavioral certification, behavior modification seminars, field training seminars and true success and experience.
Evaluating the dog is a strong component to starting a training program.

What is my experience and qualifications?
My experience spans over 16 years of dog training.  I have the innate ability to understand dogs. My inspiration to train comes from two golden retrievers who have since passed on and taught me about behavioral modification, obedience, leadership, operant and counter conditioning, tracking, canine good citizen, and field hunt tests that led to a Master Hunter performing in the AKC Master National competition.
My education is based upon having a BS- Education degree, Minor degree in Early Childhood education,  Master Degree in Business, Canine Behavioral Certification Instructor, Animal Shelter internship, Consultation and case study with Animal Behavorialist through the University of Minnesota and Patricia McConnell. I was mentored with a professional field trainer with Saxon-my Master Hunter- and continued with seminars of Mike Lardy, Evan Graham and Lori Jolly. Seminars with Sue Sternberg and Pia Silvana working with aggression, evaluating, rehabilitating and placing dogs. Brenda Aloff canine body language and healthy play versus risky behavior.
I am an approved AKC Hunt test judge  and qualified in all three stakes.
